Therefore this year on Saturday, the usual press conference taking place after the RAM Qualifying Races will be held in the Paddock Show with the spectators for a direct exchange and is something that will increase interactions with our fans. To see riders, teams and managers exchange with spectators is a strong point that we really want to keep for a long time. Some are in the paddock with the Paddock Show that will start in Europe in Sardinia as it is very important to maintain this very unique link between motocross and the fans, which is very rare in motorsports. Of course even on the back of a great season we always need to innovate, modernise and develop the Championship and for that, we have some novelties to announce.

Coming back a bit on last season, it was the first complete season after the Covid time where we were able to have a full crowd back and we had a fantastic final with the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in the RedBud, USA. The press conference started with a presentation that looked at statistics from last year, showcasing the success and increase of TV Broadcasting along with the growing MXGP presence on social media and the overall coverage of, MXGP-TV and the MXGP Magazine.
The inaugural Opening Press Conference of the 2023 season took place today with Infront Moto Racing CEO David Luongo, FIM/CMS Director Antonio Alia Portela, and Organiser of the MXGP of Patagonia-Argentina David Eli who all welcomed everyone to Villa La Angostura. Then towards the end of August, MXGP will return to Russia for the MXGP of Igora Drive, followed by Turkey, China, France, Spain and ending at the beautiful Patagonia Argentina.Īnd of course, after a year break, 2021 will also see the awaited return of the worldwide best off road event, the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, which will head to Imola, Italy on the 26th of September.The 2023 season is ready to kickstart racing action following a day full of activities which welcomed the start of the 2023 FIM Motocross World Championship in Villa La Angostura for the MXGP of Patagonia-Argentina.

Then the series will head to Asia for two rounds in Indonesia, before returning to Czech Republic, Belgium, Sweden and Finland.
The season will begin on the 3rd of April 2021 with the MXGP of Oman, before heading back to Europe for the MXGP of Italy, then followed by the MXGP of Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, Russia and Latvia. The 2021 racing calendar will feature 20 GP races and will introduce four brand-new venues, for the MXGP of Oman at the Muscat circuit, along with the MXGP of the Netherlands in Oss, the MXGP of Finland in Itti-KymiRing, already presented to feature in the 2020 calendar but then postponed to 2021, and the MXGP of Igora Drive in Russia.Īdditionally, the FIM Motocross World Championship will also be returning to some of the favourite venues, including Agueda, Teutschenthal, Orlyonok, Kegums, Jakarta, Semarang, Loket, Lommel, Uddevalla, Afyonkarahisar, St Jean d’Angely, into Xanadu-Arroyomolinos and Neuquen in Patagonia-Argentina.
